The story of Uplifted By Design isn't just about clothing — it's about dignity, family, and a lifelong pattern of outlasting doubt through raw, lived experience. I didn't build this brand from a corporate boardroom; I built it from the trenches of daily life, turning personal struggles into wearable statements of strength.

Why This Exists

Hi, my name is Hedayat Hashimi, and I am the founder of Uplifted By Design. Growing up with Cerebral Palsy and raising two beautiful autistic sons, this store is a deeply personal venture and a lifelong journey for me. If you see me out on the roads driving rideshare to build this digital legacy, you might just see a guy behind the wheel. Too often, society looks at a disability and mistakes a physical challenge for a lack of inner strength. But sitting in the driver's seat of my car and my life, I am actively breaking that stereotype, bridging the lack of education, and advocating for our community. Navigating life on "hard mode" doesn't mean you sit on the sidelines — it just means your wins mean that much more.
